About NJFA

New Jersey Fencing Alliance is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization conveniently located in Maplewood, New Jersey. The club boasts nationally and internationally recognized coaches and fencers. 

 

NJFA encourages the participation in fencing by all athletes, regardless of gender, disability, age and ability level, ethnicity, cultural, and socio-economic background. To broaden the base of support for fencing in the United States, and especially in New Jersey. By actively developing and offering fencing-related community
outreach, scholarship, and educational programs.

GOALS

​To provide the highest level of instruction and state-of-the-art facilities for the sport of fencing. Promoting a socially cohesive environment for interaction amongst our diverse members. Furthermore, producing fencers of Olympic caliber, through the active sponsorship of world-class training programs, competitions, and teams.

We are dedicated to introducing the sport of fencing to people of all ages and experience levels. The club offers professional instruction, for both recreational and competitive fencers. Our talented coaching staff guides our students toward achieving their individual goals. Our programs encourage self-esteem, self-confidence, and promote education through athletics. NJFA has a relaxed atmosphere while encouraging competition. Our curriculum provides students of all levels and ages with the opportunity to grow as fencers.​

We are supportive of all our members who compete in local, national, and international events. Recent accomplishments include raising over $50,000 for charities in 2017.
