What do you love about fencing?
Its a sport you can do at any age. So parents and their kids can interact on and off the strip.
I am fascinated by the intense relationships created between parents and their children through this sport.

What personal discoveries have you made through fencing?
The importance of setting goals, writing them down and believing in them. The importance of sticking with something even in the hard times to get to your desired goal.

What values & attributes did fencing lend to you as a child?
Courage and confidence

What does fencing mean to you today?
Fencing is a lifelong love and passion for me. The memories, friends, travel and experiences are a wonderful backdrop to my life.

Why is fencing one of the best sports in your opinion?
So many of life's lessons can be taught through the sport of fencing. Also the sibling bonds that are strengthened are amazing. I won a National Championship team title with my sister that is a life-long lasting memory.

What would your 'Fence-o-graphy' say?
"Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but tin the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for it. The victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of their championship character" - T. Alan Armstrong
